Hans Bom (Netherlands)
Hans Bom, Phd (1954) is registered Clinical Psychologist. He is specialised in Systemic Therapy. In 1980 he started as a professional in the field of people with a mental disability and child psychiatry. He was chairman of the staff of a centre for children with disabilities for 14 years. In 1995 he founded a centre for ambulant care. He developed new ways of care and treatment in this field and made a dissertation on a thesis of intellectual disabled adolescents with severe behavioural problems. He is a consultant for the Centre for Consultation and Expertise (CCE) in the Netherlands since 1990. At the same time, he worked in the ambulant child psychiatry as a system therapist. He was active as a trainer, did workshops and supervision.
In 2005 he joined the Lorentzhuis, centre for systemic therapy, training and consultation. He was member of the board of editors of the journal ‘systeemtherapie’ (Dutch Journal of Systemic Therapy) from 2002 till 2008. He published papers and books. From 2006 he is working on NVR together with Eliane Wiebenga. Together we wrote some articles on NVR and, what we call, Connecting Authority. He was one of the initiators of the Dutch network on NVR and New Authority
