Biography

Eliane Wiebenga (Netherlands)

Eliane Wiebenga is a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist specialised in systemic therapy (familytherapy and parent-counselling in general and specialised in Non Violent Resistance and Connecting Authority since 2005).
For many years Eliane has worked in a psychiatric hospital for children. Since 2000 she is working as a therapist, teacher and supervisor in the Lorentzhuis, Institute for systemic therapy, education and consultation in Haarlem, The Netherlands. The Lorentzhuis has introduced NVR in The Netherlands by inviting Haim Omer two times for a 2-day seminar (in 2005 and 2007). Nowadays NVR is available in many institutes all over the country.
Together with her colleague Hans Bom in 2010 she developed a training on Connecting Authority and Nonviolent Resistance that is officially accredited by the Dutch Association for Couple and Family therapy. Eliane and Hans are also available for in company-trainings and supervision all over The Netherlands and are authors of several articles about Connecting Authority and Non Violent Resistance.
