From Lost at Sea to Finding an Anchor – Anxiety and NVR in Ireland
We describe the implementation of NVR principles in interventions with families where children/
adolescents live with severe anxiety. Beginning with an overview of the dilemmas this growing concern presents for families, practitioners and researchers, we will outline how the SPACE programme (Lebowitz & Omer, 2013) has been adapted to community based settings in Ireland. The experiences of parents taking part in this intervention will be shared with delegates.
